It is a few days later, and since the banjo is now finished to the point that it is playable, I have taken a formal portrait of it.

I will continue this saga when I get around to making the back for the banjo, but that will probably be after the holidays are over. The back will be just a plain, flat back to go over the back of the hoop. It will be detachable. It will provide an acoustic enhancement more than an aesthetic enhancement. I will explain that in a future post. For now, I will play the banjo and get accustomed to it. I think I am going to like this one.
